 "Mobil Awakening"

2010 Ministry Trips Across the United States

February 19 - 22 / Sedona AZ

Thursday 2/18/10

We arrived in Sedona the night before the Comedy Connection conference with David and Stephanie Herzog and Doug Addison. We stayed at the Rancho Sedona RV park, right smack in the middle of Sedona on Oak Creek. We had a great site, I could see and hear the water from our bedroom window. We decided to arrive a day early so we would not be rushed and Steve could get good rest the morning before the conference started. We had so much fun in our motorhome. The weather was nice that day. This was the first trip in Mobile Awakening in 2010 and since last October, when we lived in it for three months helping my parents with my dad's passing. We felt we were to take a break and it was a good thing, we all were excited to be in the booth again!

Friday 2/19/10

Steve and I went to breakfast and then had fun doing a little shopping in the morning goofing around Sedona. The afternoon we took a nap, it was fun, we never take naps in the middle of the day....very relaxing way to start the weekend. If you have never been to Sedona, it is a must! It is one of the most beautiful places on the face of the earth and there really is an open heaven over it. I love it there, a lot of art and creativity flowing. The conference started off great, Doug Addison was the speaker and he is so funny!

Saturday 2/20/10

Steve was the speaker this morning, he did great. He was so funny too, my husband is very funny and it was fun to see him make everyone laugh. The weather was however very rainy and got really cold. We had to turn the heat on in the RV....Joey our beagle dog did not like the heat blowing on him....but he finally got used to it.....I think he decided it was nice to be warm instead of feeling like you were in a refrigerator.

Sunday 2/21/10

Sunday was even colder and at times it looked like it was kind of snowing. We were just not prepared for the weather us southern AZ'rs. The conference was alot of fun, the worship was great and it was nice to laugh a lot. Definately good medicine for the heart. It was David Herzog's birthday so that was fun, afterwards we had fun at their beautiful home in Sedona celebrating and fellowshiping and eating great cake! The Herzog's have the most beautiful family, we love them!

Monday 2/22/10

Today we are leaving for home and it is raining, snowing, sleeting and really cold!!!!! We could hardly wait to get out of there and head to southern AZ where we know it is sunny and warmer. The outside awning was covered with ice, so Steve borrowed a broom from the neighbor and decided to stand on the picnic table to brush off the awning. Well he was not watching and ended up stepping off the table by accident and fell on his back, but did not hit his head or any major injuries. He was covered in mud and wet. By night he felt like he had been in a car accident. He improves each day but please keep him in prayer. We made it home safely and are home until Thursday. We leave Thursday in Mobile Awakening for Tucson AZ for the WhiteDove Conference. It is going to be a great conference, so if you are in the area you do not want to miss this one. Paul Keith Davis and Chuck Pierce and Steven Shelley are speaking. Worship is with Steve and JoAnn McFatter! There is info at www.whitedoveministries.org . The conference starts 2/25/10. I will keep you posted on our trip and the conference.....Flisa

(Flisa or Fleesa is a fun name my husband and friends call me because I make fleece prayer blankets and I love fleece fabric. My sewing room is overflowing with it.)
